How to adopt a pet?

Requirements:

For individual adopter
  1. Adoption form
  2. Government-issued ID
For a Group Adopter
  1. Shelter registration from BAI
  2. Location of the shelter
  3. Complete adoption form
  4. Mayors permit

Procedures:

  1. Customers will select an animal from either our website or the city pound.
  2. The client will undergo an interview.
  3. The City Veterinary department may conduct a possible home visit.
  4. Submit the adoption.
  5. The release of the pet from the city pound.
How to avail anti-rabies vaccine?

Requirements:

  1. Pet must be 3 months older
  2. The animals should be healthy, without any current illnesses, and not receiving any medication.
  3. Not pregnant; not lactating
  4. Must bring cage or leash
  5. For two or more pets, there must be two people present.

Procedures:

  1. Bring your pet for anti-rabbies vaccination at Marilao Animal Shelter and Care Facility for proper recording and documentation
  2. Present your healthy pet for physical consultation and vaccination
  3. Wait until your pet is vaccinated
  4. Obtain your vaccination card
How to avail spay and neuter services?

Requirements:

  1. Male dogs, as well as male and female cats, must be at least 6 months old, in good health, free from any diseases, not lactating, and not under any medication.
  2. No consumption of food or water for a period of 8 hours.

Procedures:

  1. Inquire at Marilao Animal Shelter and Care Facility about the request for spay and neuter
  2. Bring your pet at Marilao Animal Shelter and Care Facility
  3. Provide the details required to fill out the consent form for the operation.
  4. Please hold off until the surgery is underway.
  5. After the procedure, let the pet rest and recover from anesthesia.
  6. Obtain the prescription for your pet.
